Business : Special Education

Special education refers to unconventional education services provided to those suffering from physical and mental drawbacks such as physical handicaps, visual impairments and hearing impairments, mental retardation and autism, learning disabilities, speech impairment and those with behavior disorders. We provide a special education to those individuals who are considered eligible to receive services under the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation act of 1973. The IDEA requires public schools to locate and identify children with disabilities who may need specialized education. Special Education services may include:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Resource specialist programs
  • Modification of the regular education programs
  • Special day classes
  • Non-public schools
  • Residential treatment, and many more.

  • We have various arrangements for Special education.

  • Our classrooms have special desk arrangements, aranged in rows.
  • The teacher's desk in front of the class which allows for individual eye contact and body language.
  • In our education classrooms, restroom facilities are located within the classroom.
  • Our special education teachers try for a new setup that is not too overwhelming for him/her to function. You'll want to also maintain control with the rest of the class as well.
  • The lesson plans would vary depending upon the child's nature, age, and the extremeness and type of disability.
  • The lessons are planned in order to build and support social competence, and to help children and their families lead a problem free life and to master skills.
